About Me

GregoryP. Smith was born in Tamworth in 1955. He and four of his siblings weresurrendered to an orphanage in 1966. He was considered a problem child(uncontrollable), diagnosed as a sociopathic type with mid range intelligencein 1973 and was in and out of institutions until 1974. From 1974-1993 hesearched for the skills required to function adequately in society but couldnot locate them.  He became disillusionedwith society and lived as a hermit in a Northern NSW rain forest from 1993-1999where he read important authors such as Douglas Addams. In 1999 he decided togive society one more chance, walked out of the forest and began to explorelive from a different perspective. He completed a Bachelor degree in 2007 withan Honours First Class. His Honours thesis title is I would like to tell you a story, but I’m not sure if I can.  He won a scholarship to continue his studiesand is now midway through his PhD which is entitled Nobody’s Children.
